We are happy to announce the first Carbon Core Transformation Challenge, to be held at this year’s NLABBA Natural Classic on August 18th, 2018, and we will be awarding a Transformation Award for the winner of the category.
If you have the goal of stepping on stage, here is the perfect opportunity! This is your year!
- Start Date: April 21st
- End Date: August 4th (15 weeks to give it your all)
- Access to a private Facebook group for motivation, encouragement, recipes, etc.

Rules and Regulations
Judges selected from across the province will be given 2 weeks after your final submission to review and choose a winner. The winner will be based on weight loss, body composition, lifestyle change and over all appearance.
Your beginning pictures should be submitted on April 21st (you can submit them later, but this will give you less time to prepare). These photos will also be required at the final date of the contest, Aug. 4th.
Photograph Requirements
4 full body photos are required:
- Front with arms at your side
- Back with arms at your side
- Side with arms at your sides
- Newspaper photo: hold the local current newspaper in your photo to show the day that your photo was taken.
Clothing for contest photos: Women must wear a bikini (or shorts and sports bra) and men should wear trunks or shorts. Remember, if the judges can’t see your body, they can’t judge your overall transformation. Photos should be .JPEG unaltered high-quality format. NO SELFIES please 😊
Measurements
Please include the following measurements to submit with your photos:
- Chest
- Waist
- Hips
- Height
Other Information
During the contest you will be interviewed by a Carbon Core representative to give you the opportunity to share your story.
At the end of the contest you will need to submit your 4 final photos in the same outfit as your beginning photos. A short essay about your fitness journey, and your experience with the 15 week transformation challenge. Also submit any videos or photos that you are proud to share that were taken during the 15 week contest.
Awards will be presented in person as part of the NLABBA Natural Classic on Aug. 18, 2018 at the Holy Heart Theatre in St. John’s, NL.
You are not required to be a member of the NLABBA to participate, you are not required to be a competitor at the NLABBA Provincial Competition, you do not have to be a client of Carbon Core. You do have to have a positive attitude and commit to giving it your all!
